We believe elderly people need the benefit of a pet’s love and attention. We make it possible for them to have a pet as long as they are able. The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund will provide a safe haven for their animals once they are no longer able to care for them through due to death or disability.
The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund also provides respite care to the pets of elderly people who require surgery or prolonged hospitalization and have no one to care for their pets while they are recuperating.
We know the animal population far exceeds the number of homes available. The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund offers a spay and neuter program to help owners afford the cost of these surgical procedures. The main source of funding for this effort is the collection and recycling of aluminum cans, as well as donations from Grants and private donations.
