Dallas Memorial Hope Fund

It All Started With A Dog Named "Dallas"...

1989 - 2002

The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund was founded by Dr. Paula Tyler in memory of her dog Dallas. Dallas was known as "the clinic dog" at Benson Animal Hospital in Arizona. She would hang out in the reception area and greet each patient as they came through the door. Sadly she passed away in 2002.

Dr. Tyler wanted to establish a fund which would help elderly people enjoy the company of a pet without worrying what would become of the animal if they needed to have surgery or were placed in a nursing home. The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund provides peace of mind to these folks, knowing their pets will be cared for no matter what happens to them.

In August, 2010 The Dallas Memorial Hope Fund became its own independent 501(C) 3

The Fund raises funds through a variety of ways including community rummage sales, raffle baskets, benefit dinners, and generous donations from people like you.
